MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

I understand that I must legally reside within 50 miles of UK’s campus to be a member of Wildcat Tennis Club (hereafter “WTC”). 

I understand that WTC membership fee covers insurance, administrative costs, and equipment. The upfront annual membership fee for all junior players is $225 (the equivalent of $18.75 a month). 

UKAD facility fee and sales tax is included in the clinic session rate. All payments for membership fees and clinic sessions must be made to WTC online at www.wildcattennisclub.com before players step onto the court for their session. Please be sure to zero out the contribution prompt automated by Zeffy when making your payment, you do NOT pay any fees for signing up online.

I understand that cash, Venmo or private payment to WTC Staff is in violation of UKAD’s Local Sports Policy agreement with WTC and the UKAD Clubs and Lessons Policy and Procedures.  

I understand that WTC does not offer membership discounts. 

I understand that UK coaches are employed by the University of Kentucky and insured through the university. I also understand that WTC Staff are employed and insured through WTC with coverage through Erie Insurance.

I understand Matt Gordon and Carey Rubin assign groups. Groupings can change from session to session to maintain skill level balance and player-to-pro ratio.

I understand that players must be WTC members to play on UK courts and have paid the membership fee to receive private lessons and small group lessons (even if not enrolled in clinics) and that WTC Staff must be paid through WTC electronically through our online system, Zeffy. 

I understand that WTC Staff completed the "University of Kentucky Programs Involving Minors Notification Form" in addition to a criminal background check and National Sex Offender Public Registry check from Vision Security Consultants, Inc. within the last five years.

 I understand that taking lessons on the UK courts with someone who does not work for Wildcat Tennis Club  violates this Member Agreement and will result in the termination of WTC Membership.

I understand that WTC follows NCAA guidelines and UKAD Clubs and Lessons Policy and Procedures and WTC receives bi-annual compliance reviews through the UKAD compliance office.

I understand that WTC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization operated by the Wildcat Tennis Club of Kentucky Board of Directors.
