THE WILDCAT MISSION
The purpose of Wildcat Tennis Club of Kentucky is to foster & support amateur tennis in young adults by offering a wide range of programs designed to teach the game of tennis and take advantage of the many health, fitness & social benefits. WTC is a 501c3 non profit organization operated by a board of directors.
The program is lead by Associate Head Coach Matthew Gordon and Carey Rubin.
ALL members of WTC are held to the WTC Membership Agreement that is included in their Membership Application. Please email wildcattennisclub@gmail.com for a membership application to begin the process of joining the club.
Wildcat Summer Camp Info
Camps cover all aspects of tennis from stroke play, match play, technique, strategy and fitness. A great camp for all levels and very competitive for tournament level players
CURRICULUM
The camp curriculum covers all aspects of tennis. Players are grouped according to both age and ability. Areas that we will cover are:
- Forehand
- Backhand
- Serve • Overhead
- Volley
- Approach shots/Transition
- Service Returns
- Strategy/Tactics
- Mental Training
- Match Play/Singles & Doubles
- Different levels of junior play & Doubles Strategy
- World class instruction by UK Coaches and player

Session 1 Clinic: June 2-5
Session 2 Clinic: June 9-12
WILDCAT CAMP 1: June 16-19

WILDCAT CAMP 2: July 14-17
Level 7 USTA Tournament: July 18
Drop off and Pick up
Parents, please walk your child into the tennis facility to drop off and pickup from clinic. Parents are responsible for their children walking on campus (from parking lot to Boone and vice versa).
ALL PLAYERS MUST BE MEMBERS and live within 50 miles of UK

-Summer Membership Fee: $50
for 1-5th graders (insurance, administrative services and equipment)

-Membership Agreement: All payments for membership fee and clinic session must be made online to WTC before players step onto the court. Cash, Venmo or private payment to WTC staff is in violation of UKAD’s Local Sports Policy agreement with Wildcat Tennis Club.
